Cost of Living

Australia’s most affordable medical certificates? With the cost of living issues going on today, working hard to make rent, and put food on the table, it sucks that when you are sick, you have to spend money to get a medical certificate just so your boss believes you and pays you your sick days. What sucks even more is having to spend sometimes up to $100 or more for an appointment with your GP to get that little piece of paper, not to mention the waiting in the waiting room when you don’t feel well.

What About Backdating?

You can’t get in to see your GP until you are well, but they won’t backdate? It is illegal to backdate a medical certificate. However, at My Med Cert, we understand that sometimes you are recovered by the time you see the doctor and, therefore, are happy to provide non-backdated but retrospective medical certificates that can cover days when you are too unwell to get out of bed. Also, you won’t have to wait in the waiting room, possibly picking up other bugs. It’s a better waiting room at home! But what about the cost? Other Telehealth providers offer the same convenience but charge upwards of $45. Some are less expensive but are done with you, the patient, only filling out a scant medical questionnaire that isn’t the best medical care.

At My Med Cert, We aim to provide one of Australia’s cheapest medical certificate options without skimping on the details!

So, to help with this cost-of-living issue affecting so many people, we want to offer one of Australia’s most affordable medical certificate options online.

We hope this helps you.
