Not All Med Certs Are My Med Certs

Why would you need another telehealth medical certificate provider on the cyber web when there are already so many? Well, not all medical certificates are the same.

Having subcontracted to many other Telehealth companies, My Med Certs’ founder, Dr Matthew Hasdell, is aware of the need for more comprehensive care in the Telehealth space regarding medical certificates. If just anyone could do a certificate, then just anyone would be doing them. But a simple piece of paper (or a simple PDF via email these days) isn’t just a piece of paper; it’s a medical opinion, which is why only certain people can do it legally. However, for many of these “tick-n-flick” type telehealth services, the lack of relevant medical information gathered by the rapid and cursory questionnaire is insufficient to ensure that you, the patient, are not in danger. Then, suppose you have any concerns about the medical condition you might be suffering. In that case, you must make another appointment and pay again for a consultation to get what should have been offered initially.

At My Med Cert, we provide what is missing. A comprehensive consultation allows us, the doctors, to ensure you are well enough to stay home and rest rather than needing more urgent medical intervention. After all, that’s what we gained from attending medical school and doing our post-graduate training. But also, if you, the patient, have any concerns raised during the consultation, we advise you to seek an in-person assessment to avoid having any potentially severe consequences arising from what may be a serious health concern.
